The Luxury approach
01 — UnderstandThe laser fragments some tattoo pigment into smaller particles that the body gradually clears. One session cannot safely treat every layer of ink, so fading usually requires several treatments separated by recovery periods.
Black and dark blue pigments behave differently from green, light blue, red, yellow, white or permanent makeup. Depth, previous scarring, tattooing technique and skin tone also affect the result and the risk of pigmentation changes.
This page provides guidance but does not diagnose or replace a consultation. The final recommendation depends on a professional assessment.
What we can assess
Each goal is reviewed separately to avoid unnecessary treatment and organize options with realistic expectations.
Reduce pigment visibility in stages without pursuing excessive energy in a single session.
Recognize that different pigments may need different wavelengths or strategies.
When the goal is a new tattoo, define the degree of fading that may be sufficient.
Clinical assessment
A responsible consultation does not begin with a procedure. It begins by identifying needs, medical history, limitations and alternatives.
Talk with our team →Colors, size, density, texture, apparent depth, age and location of the tattoo.
Skin type, tanning, tendency toward dark marks, scarring or keloids and previous wound healing.
Permanent makeup, cosmetic ink, pigment reactions or previous removal attempts.
Pregnancy or breastfeeding, immune suppression, medicines, infection and current skin condition.
Your experience
02 — SupportWe document colors, density, scarring and the goal: remove, fade or prepare for a cover-up.
Wavelength and settings are selected according to pigment, skin and previous response.
The session includes protective eyewear, epidermal care and attention to the skin’s immediate response.
The skin and immune system need time before the next treatment can be assessed.
Before deciding
Candidacy is not determined by a photograph or a trend. These are general guidelines and must always be confirmed during a consultation.
Safety and expectations
Treatment intervals, wavelength selection and skin care help balance fading with risk.
Pain, redness, swelling, blistering or crusting may occur after treatment.
Infection, scarring, texture changes and lighter or darker spots are possible risks.
Some light cosmetic pigments can paradoxically darken and may need a test or specific strategy.
Acid creams, salt abrasion and home kits have not been shown to remove tattoos and may cause burns or scars.
Frequently asked questions
03 — Answer questionsClearance cannot be guaranteed. Colors, depth, composition, scarring, location and individual response determine how much pigment remains.
Ink lies in layers and the body needs time to clear fragmented particles. Treating everything at once would increase injury risk.
No. Black and dark blue often respond better than some greens, yellows, whites or cosmetic colors. More than one wavelength may be needed.
Sun protection is part of aftercare. Treated skin may be more vulnerable to burns and pigment changes.
