The Luxury approach
01 — UnderstandLaser hair removal uses light energy absorbed by hair pigment to selectively damage the follicle. Because not all follicles are in the same growth phase, several sessions are usually needed, and response varies by area, hormones, hair color and caliber.
Different skin tones can be treated, but the device, wavelength and settings should be appropriate for the skin type and the operator’s experience. Consultation can also identify when new or unusual hair growth may be related to a hormonal condition that deserves medical assessment.
This page provides guidance but does not diagnose or replace a consultation. The final recommendation depends on a professional assessment.
What we can assess
Each goal is reviewed separately to avoid unnecessary treatment and organize options with realistic expectations.
Decrease the amount and thickness of hair in selected areas through sessions organized around the growth cycle.
Choose technology and energy while considering skin color, tanning and pigmentation tendency.
Assess areas affected by shaving irritation or ingrown hairs without claiming the laser treats every underlying cause.
Clinical assessment
A responsible consultation does not begin with a procedure. It begins by identifying needs, medical history, limitations and alternatives.
Talk with our team →Area, density, color and caliber of hair and previous removal methods.
Skin type, recent tanning, sunburn and tendency toward dark marks or keloids.
Medicines, isotretinoin, photosensitivity, herpes, infection and relevant conditions.
Hormonal changes or new hair growth that may warrant additional assessment.
Your experience
02 — SupportWe review skin, hair, area, sun exposure and history to estimate response and risk.
Shaving and pre-care instructions are provided while avoiding follicle removal and sun exposure when appropriate.
Individualized settings, cooling and appropriate protective eyewear are used during treatment.
Tolerance and observed reduction guide intervals, energy and possible maintenance.
Before deciding
Candidacy is not determined by a photograph or a trend. These are general guidelines and must always be confirmed during a consultation.
Safety and expectations
Device selection and experience with different skin tones are just as important as the technology itself.
Redness and sensitivity around follicles are common and are usually temporary.
Burns, blisters, pigment changes, scarring or herpes reactivation are possible risks.
Protective eyewear must match the wavelength and be worn by the patient and staff during emission.
Sun exposure and tanning increase pigment available to absorb energy and may raise injury risk.
Frequently asked questions
03 — Answer questionsIt can produce long-lasting reduction, but response varies and some areas need maintenance. Reduction is more accurate than guaranteed total removal.
It depends on area, growth cycle, hair color and thickness, skin type and hormonal factors. The estimate is adjusted to your response.
Technologies and settings exist for different skin tones. The operator should have experience with your skin type and review any recent tanning.
Shaving without pulling out the follicle is commonly advised, but exact timing depends on the device and area. You will receive specific instructions.
